Mayor of Prijepolje, Nedzad Turkovic, presented an acknowledgment to Vlade Divac to thank him for all of the achievements on and off the court during his career. Such an award was given for the first time in the history of Prijepolje, Divac's hometown.

On the way to the Vlade Divac Museum, a large number of locals gathered to be a part of this spectacle. Valedictorian of the Prijepolje High School, opened the exhibit featuring items from Vlade Divac basketball career. The exhibit consists of a large number of photographs, news articles, awards, medals and sports memorabilia. The museum is located in Vladimir Peric Valter Street and is the only museum in the city.
