With the typical sounds of trumpets and songs from the king and queen of gypsy music - Saban Bajramovic and Esma Redzepova, Vlade Divac and his guests greeted the large crowd and danced into the night on the main stage. |
On Sunday morning, September 23rd, Vlade, his family and guests left for Divac's birth town of Prijepolje. Once they arrived, the group was greeted with a magnificent welcome. Divac's first stop was the famous Monastery Mileseva.
At the main square, Divac greeted all the residents of Prijepolje and received the honorary key of the city of Prijepolje. |

Here is where Divac also symbolically scored the last basket of his career. He lifted a boy from a refugee camp and helped him dunk a basketball. This was also the beginning of a new phase in his humanitarian work. The final event of the weekend was the official inauguration of Divac's museum in Prijepolje, featuring his trophies, medals, jerseys and many pictures from his basketball career as well as humanitarian work.
